Maybe it's silly, but I think fate brought me here. There was no breaking point for me, no last straw. It was as simple as waking up one morning and deciding to do something different. I know I have a greater purpose, and I believe you're the only one who can show me what it is.

Basic Info
Sunny is a young magical creature healer that specializes in the care of wild beasts, similar to a veterinarian. After joining the work force in the big city at an insurance company, she realizes that she's unhappy with her life. She quits her job and moves to a small village on the coast, uprooting her life to begin anew. Sunny doesn't care that the land is supposedly 'cursed' — she can't take it in the city anymore. There, she begins to grow her new life and finds herself entwined in the twisted world of a mysterious wizard.

Personality
Sunny is cheerful and energetic but spacey and anxious. She loves animals and helping others, and she shines when she feels useful. The underlying issue is that she doesn't have confidence that her skills might warrant. She doesn't know it yet but she hasn't learned to like herself. Her bright aura and kind heart are infectious.

Sunny's sun, moon, and stars. The guide to her fate. Or at least that's what she believes.
Ashley
Older Sister
Ashley is Sunny's older sister. She looked after Sunny growing up despite being only 5 years older. Ashley and her ex-husband took Sunny in when Sunny was only 14. As a result, Ashley is a little over-protective of her little sister. Who can blame her though? Ashley would go to the underworld and back for Sunny. (Literally).
Nova
Friend
Nova is a dear friend and trusted confidante of Sunny. Despite Nova's penchant for the grandiose, she is a shrewd business woman with her heels firmly grounded in reality. Her wisdom if invaluable... and she knows it.
Regis
Ex-Brother-in-Law
Ashley's ex-husband... Regis and Sunny were very close in her youth, though the less-than-amicable divorce has wedged a rift between him and Sunny. Regis is flighty and unpredictable, but Sunny knows that if she were ever in trouble, Regis would come to help her.
Val
Sister-in-Law
Val is aloof and sometimes abrasive on the outside, but deep down she views Sunny as a sister. She may not say it with words, but her loyalty and practical jokes say it all.

Sunny will never fully understand the graditude Edith has for her.
Pets
Yams
Yams is a giant hamster and Sunny's closest friend. As a giant hamster, he is roughly the size of a rabbit. Sunny rescued him from the first frost of autumn and they have been inseparable since. Yams is protective of Sunny and is more than just a pet, often reminding her to eat and helping her regulate her anxiety. Sunny is, of course, oblivious to his efforts and just thinks he's a big, cute baby.
What Sunny doesn't know about Yams is that he's actually a fugitive and a war criminal on the run. He is extremely cunning and dangerous and is an expert in demolition and explosions. ...But just look at his little face!
Marta
Marta is an ewe that Sunny took in after she was rejected by her flock. Sunny assumed Marta was rejected because Marta doesn't speak, like other sheep do. ...Or at least, that's the impression Sunny is under. Marta can, in fact, speak but simply chooses not to in front of her shepherd. She was actually rejected from her flock by being a nasty, cantakerous bully. Marta likes to believe that she is queen of the pasture and is good friends with Yams.
Several chickens!
I haven't named them yet... but they are a bit of a hivemind that run amok in the pasture
